This book treats on a family very known in his people so called kalanero located in the Island Melisa. This family was going all summers to that island and all his Inhabitants were becoming very happy for his arrival.
The family there was constituted by the gentleman fichberry - white, the lady fichberry, his daughter Amanda and his son David. Also it is a part of the family the lady Agathi who was the one that was helping in the house of the fichberry. the whole people was happy for the arrival of the family, they offered them very much gifts and food. Time later, when the family already was installed in the people David and Amanda they helped a friend who was living in the people called Yani, these helped him to solve a great problem that had.
I comment on Yani to David and to Amanda on his problem, this one was not like any different, this one was for money, it turns out that the father of Yani had obtained money to the mayor, but for things of the life the deceased like that leaving the debt. The mayor time later asked him to yani to return to him the money that had given him his father, but this one when that one did not have great quantity had a great idea.
His idea was to steal all the donkeys of the people and to take them to Isla Hespérides alone where they were going, in order that this way the desperate inhabitants were offering a reward similar to what the father of Yani owed the mayor to him, Para like that to pay the debt.
This plan was started, one night the three. David, Yani and Amanda entered to every stable of the people to extract all the donkeys and to take them to the Island Hespérides, Todos were easy to extract less the donkeys of the gentleman Kouzos, since this one was very fearful and insecure, it is for this that had put a great padlock to the stable, but Yani had one great idea:Mientras Amanda and David they were trying to open the stable, Yani I hoist to happen for a vampire saying to the gentleman Kouzos that the venia to absorbing the blood and this one believed itself it, this way having time to extract the donkeys of his stable and to take them to Islands Hespérides.
On the following morning all the inhabitants of the people had realized this great tragedy, they all were thinking that the communists were been, since Yani was very espabilado (intelligently) and had thought about this, it had left out of the stable of the mayor a sign that he was saying " Donkeys of the world, uníos ". The mayor decided to be going to look for the inspector and for the policeman of Kalanero.
And this way with the help of the mayor, the policeman, the inspector, two dogs and two assistants, went out to search to the donkeys for the whole Island Melisa, weeks after weeks went out to search to the donkeys but they them never found up to the point that the mayor offered a great reward. Yani on having found out about the offered for the mayor I send Amanda to the village, and this one shouted I found to the donkeys with my friends!, the mayor I kiss her and embrace her with great enthusiasm and this one showed him where the donkeys were.
The donkeys returned swimming to Isla Melisa, Yani, Amanda and David claimed the reward but the mayor said to them that everything was a joke, which there was no such a reward, these they got angry and the people on having realized the happened they forced him to give the reward to the young persons. Rightly in that moment of the delivery of the reward the mayor gives the money to Yani and is one returns it, this way putting in danger the plan, since in this moment the mayor realizes the deception and says they, they, they stole all the donkeys, only they wanted the reward!, and the whole present people threw to himself to laughing, since none believed the mayor, this one did not have of other one that not to be able to do anything in favour of his accusation.
